Designed by developers for developers and development teams, ApyHub is a platform that is used for the discovery and consumption of software Utility APIs with the ultimate goal of building leaner applications, faster.
ApyHub is a platform designed for developers and engineering teams who are looking for ways to improve their productivity and their applications. We built ApyHub both for individual developers but also for development teams within startups as well as larger organizations.
Each Utility API is a (relatively) small service utility that provides a functionality that can be incorporated in a wide range of software applications. These utility APIs can vary from data projection, file manipulation, standard lists, data validation, like preview generators, word to pdf conversions, video thumbnail generators and many many others. We encourage you to have a look and explore our full list of utility services.
Currently we have more than 100 APIs in different categories:
Artificial Intelligence APIs
Data Extraction and Validation APIs
Image Processing APIs
File Security APIs
File Conversion APIs
E Commerce APIs
Currencies, Time Zones and other Data APIs
File Manipulation APIs
Yes. Creating an ApyHub account is 100% free. You can start using ApyHub Utility APIs in the free plan and upgrade only once your needs grow.
All APIs are built and curated by the ApyHub team.
We spend most of our time researching and building new utility services. We do our best to publish new APIs every month.
Good news for all devops folks out there: The ApyHub APIs are all built, maintained and operated by ApyHub, an EU technology company. ApyHub B.V. is located in the Netherlands, with primary data centers in the European Union, Asia Pacific and other regions.
Security and privacy are very important for ApyHub and are treated very seriously.
We are an established business in the European Union (Netherlands), so regulations apply for our business. We are GDPR compliant and always respect your privacy. If you have any questions or comments do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.
When creating an account on ApyHub, you automatically get and become the owner of your workspace (my workspace). This workspace can be private or a business. You can create as many workspaces as you want and invite others to different workspaces.
In ApyHub, a subscription plan is tied to a workspace. Different workspaces might be subscribed to different plans. For e.g. workspace A being in the free plan and workspace B being in one of the paid plans.
You simply have to pick the right plan for you based on your expected usage. Your plan then will renew automatically so you can rest assured that you can keep using and consuming Apys without any disruption. Each plan gives you the right to make a certain number of Atoms that can be used to make requests to the utility services.
Apy Atoms provide you access to consume Utility APIs. Most APIs require 1 atom per request. This means that you can basically make as many requests to different services in the platform depending on your Apy atom balance.
Depending on the plan you are in, a certain number of Atoms are awarded to you every month.
Depending on the complexity, each API has a different number of Atoms associated with them. Some simple APIs, like the Word to PDF API or European VAT Validation API cost 1 Atom per request. Other APIs like the link preview generator API or the Thumbnail Generator APIs cost more Atoms.
Yes. Every subscription plan gives access to the entire utility API catalog. Isn't that wonderful? However, depending on the Utility API you want to use, a different limit might apply. In more detail, the ApyHub API catalog has 3 categories:
Base Catalog: Includes the basic file conversion and manipulation APIs along with other data APIs.
Premium Catalog: The Premium catalog includes more complex APIs like for example all the video processing APIs.
AI Catalog: The AI API Catalog includes all the AI enabled APIs.
No worries, we have you covered here as well. You can always purchase extra atoms based on your expected needs. Purchased atoms can be carried to upcoming months, and come on top of the atoms that are given to you based on your subscription.
If your needs in a specific month is higher than the limit that your plan accommodates for, you have two options: 1. Change, move up to a higher plan or 2. Enable overages. You can pre purchase these overages and use them every time your account reaches its limit.
Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. if you are facing issues with the limit of your account.
Every subscription plan is at the workspace level, be it a private workspace or a business workspace.
Depending on the plan, you can have a different number of users invited.
You can invite your friends and connections to ApyHub. This will give you some extra Atoms :)
Yes, when you are invited to a workspace, you may decline the invitation in the first place and you can also decide to accept the invitation and leave the workspace later on.
As an admin or an owner of a workspace you can configure the roles of the users in the workspace. More specifically:
Admins can update the workspace settings, create & remove users, create apps, delete apps.
Members can create apps and delete the apps that they have created in the workspace.
Owners can do everything that admins can do. In addition, workspace owners can change the subscription plan.
There are options for everyone. Some plans include one call per second. In the more advanced plans, we allow for more calls. Unlimited custom plans are available upon request.
We can help you identify the right plan for you and your team. Just send us a note at email@example.com and we can discuss this.
We are doing our best to ensure that the documentation accompanying an Apy service is as comprehensive as possible. The service documentation will provide info around the steps required to make a request to the service.
There are two different options for making a request to a software utility service.
Creating a basic authentication and
Creating a (service) token
The service token is your unique identifier that needs to be provided each time you make a new request. If the token is absent or invalid you'll get an "unauthorized" response.
All your tokens (and basic authentication keys) are available at the workspace settings page.
We have developed an API playground that can help you test and validate each API before adding it into your application. Most of the APIs have such a playground.
You can test your APis through the ApyHub API Client - Fusion. You can use Fusion for API testing for the ApyHub APIs but also your own APIs.
We support all major credit and debit cards. Please note that based on your geographical location, some payment methods might not be available.
