### Domain WHOIS Lookup API - RDAP, DNS Records, SSL Expiry

`POST https://api.eu.apyhub.com/martin10291/bulk-domain-whois-dns-ssl-lookup` · 100 atoms · accepts `application/json` · returns `application/json`

| Parameter | In | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `domains` | body | array of string | no | Domain names to look up, for example apify.com, github.com, wikipedia.org. URLs are accepted too (the host is used). Use the registered domain, not a subdomain. Example: `["apify.com","github.com","w… |
| `includeDns` | body | boolean | no | Add A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CAA records plus parsed SPF and DMARC policy for each domain. Example: `true`. |
| `includeSsl` | body | boolean | no | Connect to port 443 and add the TLS certificate issuer, valid-from and valid-until dates, days left and subject alternative names (SANs). Example: `true`. |
| `includeRedirects` | body | boolean | no | Follow HTTP redirects from http://domain and report the chain and the final URL with status code. Uses an honest User-Agent and only GET requests. Example: `true`. |

#### Quickstart

Look up DNS and WHOIS data for a few domains in one JSON request.

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.eu.apyhub.com/martin10291/bulk-domain-whois-dns-ssl-lookup" \
  -H "apy-token: $APY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "domains": ["apify.com", "github.com", "wikipedia.org"],
    "includeDns": true,
    "includeSsl": true,
    "includeRedirects": true
  }'
```

#### What you'll get back

Returns a JSON object with a `count` integer and an `items` array of objects.

```json
{
  "count": 3,
  "items": [
    {}
  ]
}
```

## About

## What it does
Domain WHOIS Lookup checks one or more domains and returns registration and availability-related metadata in a single response. Send an array of domain names in `domains`, and the API responds with `count` plus an `items` array for each lookup.

Use `includeDns` when you need DNS resolution data alongside the lookup. It adds A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, and CAA records, plus parsed SPF and DMARC policy details for each domain. Use `includeSsl` to inspect HTTPS endpoints: the service connects to port 443 and returns TLS certificate issuer information, the valid-from and valid-until dates, days left, and SANs. If you also set `includeRedirects`, it follows HTTP redirects from `http://domain` and reports the redirect chain and final URL with status code.

This is useful when you need to verify a domain before onboarding a customer, enrich a lead with technical domain data, or audit domains at scale for DNS and certificate issues. URLs are accepted too, but the registered domain is used, and subdomains are ignored so you get consistent results for the same site.

The response is intentionally simple: a total `count` and a list of lookup `items`. That makes it easy to batch domains, store the results, or feed them into validation and monitoring workflows.
