About
This API lets you validate IFSC codes.
IFSC (Indian Financial System Code) validation is an important aspect of financial transactions in India. It is a unique identification code assigned to each bank branch by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for the purpose of facilitating electronic fund transfers (EFT) within the country.
This validation helps to ensure that Accurate information is entered when initiating a fund transfer, reducing the risk of errors or funds being transferred to the wrong bank account. The security of electronic fund transfers ensures the authenticity of the bank account and branch and reduces the risk of fraudulent transactions. The data provided through the service is constantly updated from the data provided by the RBI.
Try out the API in the API playground and see how the free IFSC validation API can help you validate IFSC numbers through a simple API call.
