Get Global Crypto Market Overview API

What it does

Crypto Market Cap returns the global cryptocurrency market snapshot in a chosen quote currency. Send vs as usd, eur, gbp, btc, or eth, and get back the current market data in that denomination.

The response includes source, vs, totalVolume, btcDominance, ethDominance, totalMarketCap, marketCapChange24h, and activeCryptocurrencies. Numeric fields may be null when the upstream source does not have a value available, so you can handle missing market data without guessing.

Use Crypto Market Cap when you need to show a dashboard, drive portfolio analytics, or annotate a crypto summary with current dominance and capitalization figures. Because the output is already normalised around a single vs currency, it fits cleanly into charts, market overviews, and comparison views.

It is a lightweight read-only endpoint for applications that need a fast global crypto market reference rather than per-asset pricing or exchange order books.
