The Email Validation API checks whether an email address is worth accepting. It confirms the address is correctly formatted, that its domain is set up to receive email, and, by default, that it doesn't come from a disposable email service. You get back a single true or false. Use it on sign-up forms, contact forms, and newsletter subscriptions to stop typos and throwaway addresses before they reach your database, or run it over imported lead lists to remove addresses that would bounce. Set disposable_checks to false if you want to accept temporary addresses. The check confirms the domain can receive mail, but not that a specific mailbox exists.
